Cosplay is welcomed at Chester Comic Con. We love to see the creative costumes you've made and the characters you have brought to life. We would ask that all care is taken with prop weapons and under no circumstances are real weapons allowed into the event at any time. When entering the venue any props and weapons will need to be checked and will receive a small certification sticker to say they are safe to walk around the event with, any weapons failing a prop weapon check (sharp blades, weapons that can fire projectiles or pyrotechnics, heavy blunt objects, dangerous objects) will have to be surrendered till the end of the event.
Please take caution outside of the event when in costume and carrying around any prop or prop weapon of any kind.
Please also take care if you are wearing a helmet due to the visibility issues these can cause. You may also be asked to remove your helmet when having your ticket taken and wrist band allocated, please don't be offended if we ask you to do so.
Wrist bands must be visible and cannot be attached to bags, clothing or props.
Please remember. Cosplay is not consent. Ask before taking a photo, touching any guest (in costume or not) or touching/holding props.
